At the NIC - Nagusi Intelligence Centre, we are hosting a new thematic event on 10 July from 9:30 to 12:15, where we will present our 13th monograph: Smart home technologies for the independence of older people.

Ageing presents challenges to maintaining autonomy and safety in the home. Smart homes provide innovative solutions, such as automation, health monitoring and robotics that can significantly enhance quality of life. However, understanding individual needs and assessing the range of technological options is essential to creating a safe, accessible home environment for older people.

The event will feature an expert presentation by Eduardo Suller, CEO of TDS Domótica & Inmótica and Honorary Professor of the Master’s in Home Automation at UCAM (Murcia). With a long-standing track record in smart home installations for older people, he will discuss the changes seen in recent years and how the technology has been adapted to the spaces they inhabit. Following the presentation, we will officially present the monograph “Smart home technologies for the independence of older people”.

After the presentations, we will organise a round table moderated by Joan Barrubes from Antares Consulting, which will feature:
