The Nagusi Intelligence Center (NIC) in collaboration with the Care Policy and Evaluation Centre (CPEC) of the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) organizes the second edition of the "Longevity Economy and Care Economy" short course aimed at professionals in the field of the longevity economy and the care economy.

The NIC is a space for public-private collaboration, led by the Provincial Council of Bizkaia, which aims to transform the challenge of population ageing into an opportunity for economic and social development. The Care Policy and Evaluation Centre (CPEC) is an international research centre working mainly in the areas of long-term care, mental health, disability and other health-related issues.

Aware of the demographic challenge, Bizkaia is committed to the longevity economy as an opportunity to respond to the needs of the elderly.

More information

The course will be held at the Nagusi Intelligence Center, on 30th and the 31st of January 2025 from 9am to 5pm and will be given by Professor Martin Knapp Dr. José-Luis Fernández, Ms. Adelina Comas-Herrera, and Dr. Juliette Malley from the Care Policy and Evaluation Centre (CPEC) of the London School of Economics. The training will be given in English and Spanish. Simultaneous translation will be provided for the English sessions.
