The demographic transition and increasing longevity pose new social, economic and public policy challenges. To anticipate them, it is essential to listen to the public.

This seminar presents the main results of the study on the needs of the over 50s population in Bizkaia, an evidence-based piece of research that offers an up-to-date overview of the perceptions, expectations and demands of this key demographic group.

In addition to the presentation of the study, a panel of experts will analyse the results from various academic and applied perspectives, providing key insights to guide longevity and demographic challenge policies.
