At the NIC - Nagusi Intelligence Centre, we are hosting a new thematic event on 16 October from 9:30 to 12:15, where we will present our 14th monograph: Designing products and services for older people.

In the context of demographic ageing and digital transformation, the design of products and services takes on a strategic role in ensuring a more accessible, inclusive and sustainable society. The experience of older people, whether as users, patients or customers, is directly influenced by design decisions that can either enable or restrict their active participation, autonomy and well-being.

We will have an expert presentation by Arantxa Gonzalez de Heredia, Lecturer and Researcher at the Diseinu Berrikuntza Zentroa at Mondragon University. As a professor and researcher in the field of Innovation and Industrial Design, she will highlight the importance of involving older people in the design of services and products for the Silver Economy and how their diversity influences this. Following the presentation, we will officially present the monograph “Designing products and services for older people”.

After the presentations, we will organise a panel discussion moderated by Joan Barrubés, Partner at Antares Consulting, which will feature:
