The Toki Alai Visitor Centre at the Urkiola Natural Park is located on the upper slopes of Mount Saibigain, only a few metres from the Urkiola Pass, and offers a permanent exhibition on the Natural Park. Visitors can also enjoy an audiovisual presentation and obtain additional details about excursions, points of interest and tourist information about the Park.

Opening Times

The Centre is open to the general public on weekdays, weekends, public holidays and during holiday periods. Everyone is welcome to pay us a visit to see the exhibition or obtain further information about the Park. The Centre also sells publications and other products of interest related to the Park: maps, books, nature guidebooks, post-cards, etc.

  • November to March opening: 10:30 to 14:30 and 15:30 to 17:30.
  • April to Octoberopening: 10:00 to 14:00 and 16:00 to 18:00.

Environmental Education Programmes

Throughout the school year, the Centre offers 12 education programmes that are aimed at children in Infant, Primary Education, Secundary Education and High School. Each one of these programmes is focused on a specific theme related to the Natural Park (woodland, fauna, human activity, mythology, etc.) and takes place over the course of a full day. To arrange a booking, please call the Toki Alai Visitor Centre any time after the start of the school year in September.

Monthly Activities for the General Public

Activities for the general public are organised and include guided tours, flora and fauna open days, bird tagging, cave excursions, etc.
